Competition has always been a large part of my life. Growing up an athlete, I learned how to be a good team player as well as a leader, but I also learned competition was a very big part of life. Taking that competitive nature with me and incorporating it into my professional career, being able to give my employers a competitive edge by improving and optimizing business processes has always intrigued and energized me. In such a global economy, supply chain really plays a crucial role for any company doing business with vendors at a high level. I’ve worked in supply chain for 6 years now and have come to realize that without a developed supply chain, your company can encounter a number of problems, and problems that impact the bottom-line.From start to end, I have been involved with many different segments of the supply chain process including: publication of supply chain guidelines, vendor negotiations, contract negotiations, vendor compliance, procurement compliance, data management, purchase order creation, warehouse transfers, logistics, and coordination responsibilities. Inventory management, supplier relationship management, data analytics, and forecasting were the main areas I focused in support of my product management team and enjoyed every moment. Following my time spent learning in Supply Chain, I moved into a Management role handling custom products and continued to challenge myself further, tackling new problems with added responsibility. Since December 2020 I have enjoyed the ongoing projects working with suppliers, production teams, and sales in a joint effort to satisfy our customers needs to the highest level. I am currently employed with Farbest Brands, A Division of Farbest-Tallman Foods Corporation. Bachelor of Science, 2014 University of Scranton-Kania School of Management
