Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ireland to Latvia covering a wide range of areas of work of the Embassy. My main responsibilities cover increasing bilateral relations between Ireland and Latvia, fostering business engagement and connections, administration of the Embassy's consular office, and political and cultural engagement.

Worked as a 3rd secretary in the area of EU Policy. Involved in the areas of health, the single digital market, environment, and crisis response as they pertain to the EU.

Temporary position in the illness benefit maintenance section of the department of social protection. As part of this position my duties include the maintenance of over 80,000 current cases, dealing with customer queries on all issues relating to their claims and inputting of confidential customer data. Skills learned include; ISTS, BOMI4 and SDM software systems as well as microsoft excel and access.

An internship over the course of 6 months conducted in the office of Assemblymember Deborah J. Glick, chair of the higher education committee. Duties included: -Normal secretarial duties including answering of phones, filing and responding to emails.- Meeting with lobbyists and interest groups regarding higher education policies which they wished to implement. Representing the Assemblymember's views accurately and succinctly in these meetings. Writing reports on these meetings. - Policy and constituent research. Conducting research on policy issues and initiatives which the Assemblymember was part of, analysing the issues, conducting research involving legislation passed in other states and interested or affected parties. - Indexing and bill tracking. Creating and maintaining a database of all the Assemblymember's bills and where they passed through committees and debates. Advising the Assemblymember on the location of her bills and which bills to push through to final legislation.

Convenor of the UCC International Relations secondary school event. Head of logistics and organisation.Duties include: Sourcing of guest speakers. Organisation of staff and chairs for each committee. Communication with over 30 schools sending over 200 delegates and organisation of said delegates. Catering and entertainment sourcing.
