I am a research engineer with six years of academic experience at the University of Bath and three years of experience in government at DSTL. My primary field of expertises is structural optimisation and numerical analysis, although I have applied these skills to wider multiphysics optimisation and analysis. I also have experience in structural design and numerical tool development. During my career I have worked as part of small multidisciplinary teams and larger international government, industry and academic collaborations. I have been responsible for major deliverables, engaged in project planning and made significant contributions to critical design decisions. I am practiced in professional communication having written and review multiple technical reports and journal papers. I have also presented technical work to stakeholders, international and industry partners and at international conferences. I am currently looking for a fresh opportunity to apply my skills to new technical challenges. I am motivated by a desire to work on design tool development and practical engineering design problems, closer to product design and delivery.
