I am a highly motivated, creative design director with over 20 yearsexperience in various sectors of environmental design working withsome of the biggest brands in the world. Having spent time workingon my own business I returned to Start to take up the CreativeDirector of environments role heading up a team of multi disciplinarydesigners. I have a strong eye for detail and creative ideas and apassion for taking a project from concept right through to handover.I pride myself on being able to present work at the highest level andmanage and motivate a team of designers to deliver projects acrossthe globe.My experience is extensive but primarily based in the retail andhospitality sectors. That said, as the global retail landscape haschanged my focus has become more around the experience aconsumer or customer has in the space ranging from digital mediainstallations and story telling at all levels right down to productdesign and curating within the space. This has allowed a shift fromtraditionally doing retail design into new sectors including event andexhibition design as well as commercial office design and hospitality.Aside from my creative skills, as co-founding Spacemen, I alsofully understand both the needs of the creative team and that of thebusiness to ensure work is done profitably and delivered to budgetsand timescales.
