For the Measurement Solutions Technology Team, provide effective processes, standardize tool usage, and implement new initiatives from GE Energy integration effort.

Lead a team of hardware, mechanical, and software engineers to develop new ultrasonic flowmeter products.

Manage new product introduction projects. Cross-functional project planning, risk management, expense tracking, stakeholder communications. Use Design For Six Sigma tools to ensure product achievement of design goals.

Developed process improvements for part creation, bill of materials creation, and engineering change management. Established a process for New Product Introduction as part of integration with GE. Served consecutive roles as DMAIC and then as DFSS Six Sigma Black Belt. As DMAIC (Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) BB, led more than 50 green belt candidates to get certified for Six Sigma in our first year with GE. This helped improve our design processes to GE standards and also provided a bridge to GE culture in general.Then took on a role as DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) Black Belt to lead the process developments described above and support new product design teams to use statistical tools for design compliance. The goal of DFSS is to develop a product from the ground up to meet design requirements. By contrast, DMAIC is more focused on the improvement of existing processes and designs.

Lead a team of hardware, mechanical, and software engineers to develop new ultrasonic flowmeter products. Served in roles of growing responsibility from transducer design assistant to software engineer, to Flow Product Specialist. When the Flow Measurement team merged with the Gas and Moisture team to form PCI (Process Control Instrumentation), expanded my role to PCI Sustaining Engineering software engineer, then to Sustaining Engineering Lead, supporting all installed products in the Flow, Gas Measurement, and Trace Moisture monitoring markets.

Range of duties from maintenance of barracks, health and welfare of troops, and security of computer systems at 369th Signal Battalion, Fort Gordon, Georgia. Served in temporary positions as Company Commander, Battalion Operations Officer, and Battalion Executive Officer. Six months in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.
