Reporting to the Director of Golf, responsible for all aspects of the Golf Academy operations, with a strong emphasis on maintaining service delivery standards. The Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI) for the Golf Academy continues to grow and is at present one of the highest throughout the resort.Responsible for the recruitment, selection and training of golf staff on all required Starwood processes.Evolving existent tuition programmes helping maximise the revenue generated whilst working closely with the Sales and Marketing team to develop a Sales and Marketing plan. Increased golf tuition revenue by 17% 2005 and a further 13% 2006.Created the annual business plan to help guide the budget process. Inventory management through extensive knowledge of Baron POS system together with designing various cost controlling procedures have increased the retail revenue by over 28% to a record high.Assist in establishing budget/forecast figures and monitoring expenditures to ensure a maximum gross profit.
