As Account Executive I am responsible for the management and development of diverse portfolio of clients across South Wales. I advise on general insurance, risk management and claims management as well as looking for opportunities for further sales in Financial Services and Risk Management consultancy.

As NFU Mutual Branch Manager I was responsible for the development of a staff team from two members to six staff in just three years in an agency with a turnover of £1.9 million. I was responsible for the recruitment, development, training and coaching of my team as well as servicing my own client base of 300 farming and commercial clients. It was my responsibility to develop and implement an agency Business Plan and ensure premium income and profitability targets are met. I was responsible for the FSA compliance standards for the branch. I also developed new commercial and farming insurance business and recruited new members into the National Farmers Union. I identifed and secured leads for our Financial Consultant and also our Risk Management Services sales team. I was responsible for implementing the company’s HR and Health and Safety Policy within my office.As NFU Group Secretary I was the local point of contact for the farmers and growers in the area regarding farming policy and practice. I also provided support and help to the members in an industry where farmers can often feel very isolated. I have represented the organization at local and national shows and have organized local training events and meetings for the members.
