•Enthusiastically support and contribute to Chrysler's World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Program and tools.•Ensures Continuous Improvement activities are completed to achieve plant KPI objectives through leading activities in the following:•Process Engineering – CN, design change review & new model•Project Management – non-new model, outages•Tooling Cost•Launch Support•Process Capabilities•Throughput•Reliability Centered Maintenance•Maintenance Planning•FTC improvement•Responsible for read across of systemic issues and continuous improvement implementation in machining and assembly Lines•Responsible for project coordination of resources with Chrysler AME•Responsible for CN coordination across Machining and Assembly•Supports Kaizen (SK, MK & AK) implementation by Process Engineers.•Supports Cross Functional Team utilizing WCM Methodology•Supports troubleshooting on the floor•Supports weekly board meetings•Plans and implements TSS development activities with Manufacturing and PD•Communicates lessons learned with leadership, Chrysler A.M.E. and partners through EEM process methodology•Conducts studies through advanced statistical methods and techniques to identify, recommend and implement solutions to quality problems

• Manage machining aspects of horizontal machining centers for tier 1 automotive supplier.• Coordinate with vendors to develop quotes for machining fixtures and special tooling• Assist in machine programming including touch probe and macro programming.• Coordinate initial setup of machines, fixtures, and tooling on the production floor. • Setup of tool life management system, including tool presetting and real time tool data monitoring.

• Design of honing, finishing, and deep-hole drilling machines for the automotive industry.• Interface with customers and sales staff during initial machine concept.• Develop machine concepts into working machine elements and coordinate with customers on drawing approvals.• Working knowledge of TQM principals including APQP and FMEA development.• Organize purchased component pricing and delivery. Provide process sheets for customer as well as complete mechanical component and assembly drawings.• Work closely with machinists and machine build personnel to continuously improve machine designs.• Oversee complete detailing on all manufactured parts for machine.
