Primary experience in Cardiothoracic ICU where the the patient population ranged in ages 20-90 received open heart surgery or a vascular intervention. Post Yale work experience I became a travel nurse where I worked at Renown Hospital (Reno, Nevada) and Hartford Hospital (Hartford, Connecticut). During these travel assignments I gained critical skills caring for COVID-19 patients and experience in a variety of other ICUs, such as Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, Trauma ICU and Cardiac ICU. I currently hold certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).Additional background , I have a Bachelor degree in Business Management from Western New England University where I was a 4 year student athlete. Post university I worked one year position for AmeriCorps where I had worked with Habitat for Humanity in Kauai, Hawaii building affordable houses for the local community. Once returning I applied and attended to University of Connecticut's CEIN accelerated nursing program. From these past experiences I have obtained a strong work ethic for jobs requiring critical thinking and strong communication skills.
