I set up a Charity Foundation in memory of my late Mother to raise awareness and funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Our aim is to raise awareness and funding for Pancreatic Cancer research. We have currently raised over £78,000 since January 2018. We have done this by competing in marathons such as the New York, Edinburgh, Brighton London and Berlin. We have also done many fundraising events and partnered with the likes of; Bear Cricket. Bear Hug running supports, DBA Sports and Rex Club Caps. My roles.- Liaising with trustees to organise meetings and ensure all documentation is handled appropriately- Having meetings with Pancreatic Cancer UK Officials.- Referring to legal documentation to safeguard the activity of the Foundation.- Creating new fundraising event plans - Managing relationships with our partners. - Creating and updating a social media profile in order to spread the word and raise funds.- Liaising with event managers for the marathons to secure places in the event.

I have coached cricket since I was 16. I was offered the opportunity to help organise and host a series of Summer Coaching Camps based in York. I felt well suited to this role, as I could combine the skills I had learnt as part of my university degree as well as my own personal skills, such as my people and man management skills. These camps have to provide an introduction to cricket as well as challenge those who have taken part before. Organising and hosting these events allowed me to experience and develop skills in the following areas; - Creating eye-catching and encouraging advertising for a wide audience- Enhancing my people skills, working with parents and managing their expectations of what to expect for their child from the course- Budgeting and handling finances- Coaching and leadership- Understanding strengths and weaknesses of individuals and a wider team
