Chris Buser is a hard-working, recent college graduate, looking to apply his education and experience from the Music Business/Management major to his future career. Before attending Berklee, he has had experience in leading clubs and summer camps, and during attendance, had helped lead Berklee’s e-Sports Club and the Percussion section in Symphonic Winds. He is also a seasoned percussionist, having performed in the inaugural semester of the Studio 1 Scoring Orchestra, as well as in the highly successful Distant Worlds concert in spring 2015 and In the Heights in fall 2016. He has already established connections with many successful people in the music business around the country, due to both recommendations from his network and his love of travel. Through his college education he has had much experience working with computers, including social media and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. His classes also frequently involved simulations of real-world music business situations, from contract negotiations to developing marketing plans and sales pitches to calculating concert offers, all involving hands on, cooperative work with the diverse student body. After graduation, although his job has not been in the music business field, he has continued researching and networking within, such as by establishing connections with well-known members of the field and by volunteering as an usher at the Providence Performing Arts Center.
