Chief Engineer
CurrentI am a Chief Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. My passion is to expand business through new franchise opportunities. Currently leading the 1st Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD) for a hypersonic missile, Air Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW, AGM-183A) and led the EMD for the 1st autonomous missile, Non Line of Sight - Launch System (NLOS-LS).Led more than 12 missile programs across most aspects of the product life cycle for the Army, Air Force, and Navy. Skills: * Staffed programs with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems, and Logistics Engineering. My teams have worked with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Managers, and Supply Chain Managers who oversaw more than 40 vendors. These teams worked closely with customer Project Office personnel.* Developed Chief Engineer training curriculum and taught the course for 15 years to expand the Chief Engineer capability. * Participated in corporate level merger & acquisition activities by assessing the risk & value of each opportunity. Negotiated Intellectual Property ownership for opportunities that moved forward & led the team for the transition of the asset after acquisition.* Led development teams for the Energy Line of Business, which includes grid scale energy storage systems, Navy nuclear reactor power plants, & commercial nuclear power plants.* Interacted with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for licensing new digital electronic safety controls for nuclear power plants.* Technical expertise is control theory. The control systems that I have designed include autopilots, guidance schemes, seeker controls, engine controls, & warhead controls.
