Assisting senior year 11, 12 students to work towards their educational / employment goals when they complete SACE and year 12. Assist with resume writing, where to find employment, interview techniques, and work experience. I also link students to higher education, VET courses, apprenticeships, including students with disabilities. Middle and junior year level students we work together to build on relationships at home and at school. Attendance, barriers towards education, curriculum support, engagement with external agencies, building independence, and resilience.

Flexible learning options (FLO) Youth worker / Case Manager, contracted to the Independent Learning Centre through the Murray Bridge High School and Murray Bridge North Primary School.The position included assisting local youth who found it challenging to attend main stream school and to engage them with a flexible Learning educational timetable. I worked closely with ICAN and assisted teachers with NLP, ILP, and NLP's which also included ESD and FLTP.APY Lands secondment December 2015 - February 2016 - Working with Aboriginal youth.Within the position the clients personal safety and care was paramount to the best practice that was delivered during this time.The role included responding to crisis regarding self harm, family breakdown, and the referral to key stakeholders to assist with mental health and family violence.I worked with local stakeholders to ensure the best employment or educational outcome for my clients and often assisted with work experience and local fund raising days which included assisting the youth with a healthy eating program which allowed the students to develop skills around customer service, meal preparation and even prepared meals for local business and training programs. The role also included assisting youth with basic life skills from friendly and polite interaction with the local community to money management and basic life skills.The role included 1-1 case management and I often found myself working closely with the teachers to assist with the learning of basic numeracy and literacy skills.I currently hold a federal Police clearance / DCSI clearance with child save environs and Mandatory notification.
