I joined Centier Bank in 2006, learning every avenue of the business, beginning with retail banking, security, accounts, and the ins and outs of day-to-day life in Centier's branches across Lake and Porter counties. In January 2007, I was immersed in the credit/risk management side of the business, working with lending and analyzing credit, before I was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Business Banking in October 2007 and eventually Vice President of Business Banking in 2009. In January of 2011, I served as the Vice President, Group Manager of Valparaiso Business Banking, overseeing a group of business bankers. In July 2014, I was promoted to Senior Vice President and then became Market President in July 2016, overseeing growth in the Valparaiso and Michiana markets, which included opening and establishing branches in a new market where Centier had not ventured. In March 2018, I became the Executive Lending officer, aiding in the oversight of the lending division, before being promoted to Senior Partner, overseeing lending, business banking, consumer loans, and the mortgage lending division in July 2018. I also joined Centier's Board of Directors in 2018.

I currently serve on the leadership team of forward-thinking innovative banking professionals in the operations and development of an app-based savings account that incentivizes savings by awarding cash prizes in periodic drawings. I oversee technology, development, and marketing of the app.

Served as the proprietary trader for Legg Mason, Legg Mason Subsidiaries, and Legg Mason's institutional clients. Responsibilities included: trading and making markets with a risk commitment of multiple millions of dollars, maintaining and continuously updating the trading systems and their platforms, being an integral part of a highly efficient team which acted on-demand in high-stress environments, and creating an intern program for the Legg Mason Capital Markets.

Built and maintained relationships with a wide range of clients including: institutional accounts, retail accounts, brokers, and other dealers. Traded stocks for Legg Mason, Inc. and Legg Mason's clients on an agency basis, ensuring clients received the best possible execution.

Worked on the trading floor as a clerk while experiencing full immersion in the business, systems, and language used by traders.

Served as the assistant to the Director of the Issuer Services Department, as well as assistant in research and qualifications.
