During this role, My team trained and deployed individuals across 3 Regiment, Royal Military Police on operations supporting the Service Justice System (SJS) across the world. I managed the daily running of the operations department within a busy Headquarters which was responsible for 3 regular companies and 1 reserve company (565 Military staff). Our main output was to supply the field force with operationally focused Military Policemen/women to deploy and to be held at readiness for operations to support deployed forces. We also had to inspect our provost Company’s to measure compliance with British Army’s doctrine.

During this 6 months I was designated by a 2 * British General to Train, Advise & Assist (Coach and Mentor) the Senior Enlisted Afghan Policeman, within the Afghanistan Ministry of Interior (MOI). Daily tasks included attending strategic level meetings, advising the Mentee in aspects of effective leadership and mentoring him on daily tasks including welfare of his Policemen in Kabul and around the country.I sat on the Strategic Council for Afghan Senior Enlisted leaders (Command Sergeant Majors) from the Afghan Army, the Presidential soldiers, Police, Counter narcotics. Anti Corruption. I was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) from the United States of America for my services and selfless commitment to the Command Sergeant Major, Afghan National Police (ANP)
