Carrying out voluntary training in the Lifelong learning sector to improve my training skills. This involves tutoring and assessing learners in ICT, retail, business admin and work skills. Working with Intraining has enabled me to gain the Assessing and Assuring Quality qualification (replaces A1, D32/33) I have just completed the the PTLLS level 4 qualification. I am now taking a level 4 qualification in Advice and Guidance.

Due to a badly dislocated shoulder during 2012, I am now fully fit for work and ready for a new challenge. I am currently seeking employment within the leisure or distribution sector. I have a wealth of service, project management,warehousing and training experience. . I have gained many transferable skills and extensive management experience including project management, staff monitoring, recruitment, training, appraisal and general people management skills.I have excellent ICT skills and have used excel spread sheets to produce training needs analysis, key performance indicators, budgets, rotas and stock control. I have an excellent understanding of Word, Publisher and PowerPoint and have used these throughout my career.Over the years I have managed several projects, implemented department improvement plans, trained colleagues, managed budgets and secured contracts I played an active role in enabling RLMS to gain the IIP award. I feel that motivated staff are productive staff and this award allows people to see that the company invests in its staff.I have worked with external suppliers and implemented several training courses such as One to one trainer, Group training skills, Supervisory Skills, Interview and disciplinary techniques. Whilst working towards the IIP award it was essential the Supervisors and managers had these skills. I am able to communicate and motivate personnel and in the past dealt with internal and external customers to ensure excellent communication lines were in place. I feel that the skills I have are transferable and I would enjoy adapting them to a different industry. I particularly enjoy developing links with 3rd party organisations and feel it is vitally important to work with other people to provide the best service possible.I feel that one of my biggest strength is my ability to work to deadlines and targets.

Prior to RLMS being taken over by Gamestec I worked as Technical Manager. In this role I was responsible for manufactures liaison and all technical aspects of the company.
