- Deputy Director for a light Cavalry Squadron deployed in a Security Forces Advisory Team role in the Logar and Wardak Provinces of Afghanistan.- Interfaced with an Afghan General and his staff in order to train and motivate his organization to assume operational lead for his section of Afghanistan. Efforts resulted in compliments from the Afghan Minister of Defense for the General's conceptual plan.- Brokered understanding between the US Armed Forces and Afghan National Army to maintain an precarious balance between operational necessity and strategic end states.- As the operations lead in Logar/Wardak, advised an Afghan Brigade commander and staff to build a strategic plan for securing the two eastern provinces. Detailed in effort, but simplistic in execution, it was signed by the Afghan Minister of Defense and recommended as a structure for other Brigades on a national level. Produced and published the capability building methodology entitled, “The Afghan National Army Brigade-Level Targeting Methodology: Historical Context and a Method for Developing Enduring Capabilities in an ANA Brigade” in a professional journal.

- Operations lead for a light Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron in excess of 600+ people at home station and forward deployed to southern Afghanistan.- In concert with an Afghan National Army counterpart and Canadian partners, planned an invasion of the Zhari district to seize control of the area from an embedded Taliban force.- Planned and oversaw the development of multiple combat outposts and roads in order to maintain security of the seized area. - Over the course of a year, planned and executed multiple operations to capture and exploit High Value Targets while also deny Taliban influence in the area.

- Chief of Current Operations for a 5000+ Air Assault Brigade Combat Team.- Synchronized and allocated resources for 12 multiple units including multi-national forces

- Selected above peers to represent the Army at the Air Force's mid-grade leader course.

- Reponsible for the vision and direction of a highly technical course which existed to create master trainers and advisors for the US Army's fleet of M1A2 and Marine M1A1 Main Battle Tanks.- Credited for saving the course; the ccourse had failed to adapt its material to support the requirements of counter-insurgency fight. Through a focused public relations campaign and engagement with the force, increased course attendance to capacity. Addtionally, secured a $200K grant to study teaching models and improve course graduation rates. Finally, developed a semi-truck trailer, deployable all over the nation, to provide a mobile course.

- Rated #1 of 36 instructors at one of the Army's premiere junior leadership courses- Small Group Instructor (14 students) to prepare future Armor and Cavalry Commanders to assume command and lead Company/Troop formations in garrison and combat.

- Chief Executive Officer for a Reconnaissance Troop consisting of 160+ Soldiers, 13 M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 9 M1A2 tanks and all the supporting maintenance and medical vehicles and equipment at home station and forward deployed to combat operations in Iraq.- Operated in the "Triangle of Death", the most challending sector of Iraq, during the most intense period of fighting. Responsible for the security and development of multiple towns and tribes in the area. Simultaneously brokered humanitarian and civil projects while planning and executing kinetic operations against enemy combatants.- Due to nature of terrain, had to rapidly adapt from mounted to dismounted operations; unprecedented for the formation in 2004. Included air movement and assault operations of which the unit had not trained prior to deployment. - Achieved overwhelming success in tactical operations, recognized as the #1 Tactical Commander of 56 in southern Baghdad and surrounding areas.

- Oversaw the night shift for a foward deployed Cavalry Squadron in Iraq.- Managed tracking of unit locations and status. - Managed the request of medical and lethal assets from higher in order to support combat operations.

- Oversaw the management of the Squadron's maintenance effort according to the priorities of the commander and mission.- Managed the team's assessment of faults, repair effort, parts procurement and distribution, and (if needed) the evacuation of the vehicle to a higher level of maintenance.
