I have over 22 years experience working within the pre-hospital setting. I am passionate about improving patient care and experience, while also encouraging the development of staff. I currently am responsible for overseeing the Ambulance provision for Northumberland including staffing, vehicles, performance and compliance to name a few. I maintain my CPD and continue to practice to a high level which provides credibility within my role. Within my CPD I have a comprehensive command portfolio where I am trained to Operational, Tactical and Strategic levels. My proudest achievement to date was the successful introduction of specialist community paramedics being able to request x-rays, and being present at the first out of hospital x-ray in the patients own home.
