I have handled jewel and precious wood products. My responsibility is to communicate with designer and workshop to develop the new products. Ensure the good price, reasonable MOQ and best delivery. 100% QC the products after mass production is done. Manage the good quality from the very beginning as well as handling after sales service. Look for good workshop and vendors to meet our demand in order to make our supplier base health.

As a leader, I am always helping the members in my team to solve the problems if they are not able to do that especially for price increasing, compensation negotiation and resolve conflicts between buyers and factories.Also I control the team budget including travel expense, daily operation and etc to ensure that we are on track.As a leader, I also encourage my team members and set up their working objective with them and review 2 times each year with them- make development depends on everybody’s personality and ability in daily work. For my own range, my responsibility is factory sourcing, product development supporting, price negotiation, production follow-up and quality control to meet the business need and objectives. Responsible for sample collection, evaluation and improvement to meet the requirement of buyers in the UK. Analyze the cost components to get the best prices. Place orders to suppliers, supervise the production to ensure on-time delivery as well as perfect quality. Solve sudden problems during production process, negotiate with suppliers if any complaints. Think thoroughly and strategically on each project and ensure all the risks are well assessed and covered with contingency plan while increasing the profitability. Review the performance of suppliers. Evaluate and qualify suppliers, work closely with factories /sub-contractors to improve the productivity, enhance the quality system and optimize the value chain. Take business trips to visit factories, escort buyers on buying trips, fairs and exhibitions as required and prepare trip booklets. Provide advice on design and samples to meet buyers' requirements, advise on market trends and attend trend presentation held by UK side every year. Go to fair for looking for new design, products and potential suppliers with buyers. Go to attend the selections in the UK and give buyers suggestions before/during and after selection.
