Detailed responsibilities include:• Work with customers to identify and troubleshoot problems, isolate root causes, resolve or escalate issues, and communicate resolution status.• Prepare and install co-location cabinets and client/infrastructure equipment.• Handle cabling within Data Centre facilities and perform onsite support, including 24x7 monitoring of BMS systems, asset management, documentation, vendor escorts, and being the primary contact for Customer Project Managers.• Perform Telco duties, including laying, terminating, and testing various cables from MMR to Customer end, and install/troubleshoot copper CAT 6 and fiber cross connect using Fluke optic tester.• Conduct audits, maintain records, and install network CPE at client sites.• Manage customer tape backups and perform related tasks.• Support customer billable requests through a trouble ticket system.• Provide external client support and assist the Facilities team with building controls.• Execute installation projects and escalate events as needed.• Maintain documentation of network systems and assist with shipping and receiving after hours.• Monitor and control access to the Data Center.• Familiarity with DCIM tools (e.g., Struxureware) and knowledge of SAP, SNOW, Lenel System and Remedy.• Support the Data Center in Sydney, Australia
