• Managed the development of new skincare and drug products as planned in the product development strategy and constantly reformulate or improve when necessary. • Worked collaboratively with the manufacturers to ensure the development and delivery of new products with the highest level of quality; including safety, formula stability, sensorial etc. • As project manager for safety information on raw materials/formulas and final products and finalize the compliance for each country regulations globally. Currently working on Asia Pacific, Europe, Southern and Northern America and Middle East market. • Liaised with the raw material supplier for the latest ingredient and technology in skin care and drug research and demonstrates knowledge to recognize key ingredients, functionality for current and future new products. • Ensured product launch success by working cross-functionally with internal departments and stakeholders throughout the entire product development process. • As project manager for final product claim testing internally and externally via third-party laboratory services including; safety, clinical and claims efficacy testing in compliance with both local and international regulatory requirements like Cosmetics Europe (Colipa), FDA, Good Clinical Practices, World Medical Association, etc. • Assisted in new product details witting and brief by providing the story/science behind the active ingredients, product advantages and supporting claims. • Reviewed and approved final artwork, internal product training manuals etc. to meet local and global regulatory requirements. • Handled products registration, clinic machine/device license, clinic premises and SPA’s license with local and international regulatory body like Health Science Authority Singapore (HSA), The National Environment Agency (NEA), Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF), Singapore Custom, CTFAS, National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency Malaysia (NPRA), FDA, etc.

• Research & development new range product from conceptualization to finish with full stability product.• Fine tune existing formulation to make the product more stable and efficient. • Support and troubleshoots on product and quality issued before, during and after production. • Works with Purchasing department, Operational department, Production Supervisor and QC Chemist in determining product development phases and projects cycle to ensure company projects are completed within agreed timeline and cost.• Works closely with the Product Development Team and Sales and Marketing Team to proactively support customers in both development and technical issues. • Source for new and replacement for raw material to development new range of product. • Meet with customer to provide technical information and answer customer enquiries. • Setup lab analytical lab and microbe lab. 1. Plan & direct the daily operation of existing research and development unit within the manufacturing team.2. Direct and manage and motivate a team of R&D Engineers with capabilities to manage multi sites/teams on product developments. 4. Work with sales and production team in determining product development phases and projects cycle to ensure R&D projects are completed within agreed timeline & cost.5. Troubleshoot operational issues, analyse data and model process behavior to characterize process performance. 6. Understand scaling issues, constraints and sizing techniques relating to all R&D development and applications. Provide high level technical training on key R&D to R&D teams. 7. Design appropriate training materials and appropriate experiments for effective training delivery to R&D teams.Realisation of the new ballast design and product transfer for production. 8. Responsible for product cost competitiveness. Value analysis concerning materials, processes and products. 9. Establishing of an accredited test laboratory according to European and ASEAN standards. 10. Handling customer complaint analyse pertinent to product design defects and make necessary improvement. 11. Support Sales and Marketing for technical knowhow and product range customisation.
