The current head of the Wholesale Trade Pillar in SMU Academy. Prior to this appointment, I headed the International Trading Institute (ITI) with responsibilities ranging from partner management, marketing, curriculum and programme development, international relations, student care and development (undergraduate and professionals) and operations management. Key responsibilities include:Curriculum Management & Development: Direct responsibility for identifying sectorial education requirements and following through with training and knowledge development solutions. These include the design and implementation of undergraduate and professional education solutions and the management of allied educators and lecturers. Partnership Management & Development: Established strong working partnerships with education, industry and government institutions. This includes international student exchange with universities such as the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and the Traders Associate Programme (TAP) with the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Industry partnerships include companies such as Shell, Olam, ABN Amro, Rabobank, Interchem, WOMAR and PIL amongst others. Government partnerships including IE Singapore, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), SMI, and SMF amongst others. Achievements include securing funding support from MPA to start the Maritime Economic Track. Show less
