Key achievements:▪ Assist with driving and leading a buy-side transaction deal for a $30-million-dollar aged care acquisition which involved overseeing the contractual agreement through to settlement and overall project management of the various workstream teams (Finance, Legal, HR & Payroll, Governance, Admissions, Customer Service and Clinical) as part of an integration plan.▪ Short term secondment to a not-for-profit Aged Care provider to assist with the practical integration of a residential aged care facility acquired which involved process mapping the key workstreams of the facility, identifying synergies and the recommendation of process improvements. Other tasks completed include the preparation of a technical accounting paper/assessment over the purchase price accounting as part of the acquisition, accounting for the acquisition in the entity’s general ledger and liaising with the client’s external auditors.My responsibilities include, but are not limited to:▪ Outsourced CFO function which includes overseeing all financial management functions of the business and working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team.▪ Providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to corporate buyers and sellers.▪ Advisory services such as quality of earnings and working capital analysis, pro-forma financial statement preparation, profitability analysis including EBITDA adjustments and normalisations, business valuations and other deal-specific procedures.
