As an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Manager, I have gained extensive experience maintaining some complex equipment and in-depth aviation systems over a varied 22-year career. As a highly motivated engineer I have been involved in major upgrade projects involving external stakeholders and design authorities.A significant and competent leader, adept at carrying out all aspects of engineering management as well as possessing demonstrable experience as a supervisor and producer. A significant contributor to any task; I manage complex and diverse issues involving multiple stakeholders and regularly influence key Executives for buy-in, affecting the realignment of procedures, as required, to improve efficiency and affect financial implications over longer term strategies, remaining in line with ISO 9001 standards. I am accountable for managing engineering activities and supervising large maintenance teams for a fleet of aircraft, and in a 2nd Line environment, providing technical subject matter expertise to operators, maintenance teams and executives within the organisation. Responsible for ensuring accuracy when recording maintenance activities, defect reports and fault analysis; working within strict engineering parameters to ensure on-time delivery of airworthy components and assets.
