In this position I had two direct reports and responsibility for over half of the company's revenue across more than 30 individual publishing clients both in the UK and overseas. This role provided me with further scope to experience face-to-face selling by regularly meeting with external clients and conducting account management planning. I launched numerous licensed collectable products, working with licenses including Disney, Marvel, Mattel, FIFA, FA, WWE and NintendoWorking with the company's biggest client at the time, Magic Box, I successfully executed the launch of GoGo's Crazy Bones which proved to be the biggest children's craze of 2009/10. The product generated more than £20 million RSV through UK news trade retailers alone, and won both the BTHA 2009 Collectable Toy of the Year and the 2009 ACE Launch of the Year. My magazine account responsibilities included PECO Publishing, Friday Ad, When Saturday Comes and Blockhead Media, for whom I acted as circulation and trade marketing manager.I was responsible for leading the Client Services team in initiating and overseeing numerous changes to working practices and best practice to benefit the company and its clients. I also revelled in the opportunity to facilitate the growth and development of other account managers through the annual performance review process, personal development plans and regular 1-2-1 sessions.
