Review and evaluate domestic and industrial wastewater permit applications (including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit applications) for conformance to Federal and State of Florida rules and regulations. Perform site inspections, as necessary, in support of permit application review and evaluation.

•Directed an office of 27 environmental health professionals to oversee the permitting and regulation of approximately 1,900 permitted facilities in twenty environmental health program areas.•Served as the Permit Issuing Official and the designated representative for NYSDOH administrative hearings for NYSDOH. Reviewed and approved enforcement actions and stipulation agreements, prepare evidence, affidavits, and presented testimony at administrative hearings.
