An internet startup that introduces a novel approach to video and live stream delivery, MoarTube allows users to manage their own content by managing their own MoarTube Node. With Cloudflare integration, users achieve a level of scalability and delivery that exceeds those of any major platform. A MoarTube Node can be created either at home or in the cloud, requiring only the most modest of resources.MoarTube was founded while I was pursuing my MS in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.

I pursued the remainder of my master's degree as a full-time student, graduating in August of 2024. In between studying I worked on a startup company (MoarTube, LLC) that I founded to keep myself engaged in software development.

I developed software for embedded systems (flight controllers) that pilot drones and manage drone swarm communications. My work required expertise in C/C++ for concurrent programming, UDP/TCP communications, and creating test harnesses for drone simulations. I also implemented live video processing from onboard cameras using C/C++ with the FFmpeg library. Additionally, I developed services in Node.js, designed to run on drones within Docker containers managed by Docker Compose. JavaScript was used for implementing REST API interfaces, enabling inter-swarm communications over WebSocket, and handling general server logic.

Project 1) I worked on full-stack development using C# and .NET to build and maintain web applications with ASP.NET Core and .NET 5. This involved database interactions through Entity Framework with SQL Server, while Blazor was used for front-end web interface development. To ensure code reliability, I conducted unit testing with xUnit throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, I used C/C++ with the FFmpeg library to implement live video processing from onboard camera hardware, particularly for drones. Project 2) I developed mobile applications using the Flutter framework for deployment on both Android and iOS platforms, primarily using Dart within the VSCode environment. Working from customer-provided wireframe designs, our team transformed these into fully implemented UI/UX elements. Unit testing was conducted to ensure software stability and reliability throughout the development process.

Project 1) I developed an Android command & control application using Java in Android Studio, which served as the primary IDE for development and testing. The project involved integrating an SQLite database for efficient CRUD operations. To ensure software stability, I created and ran test cases with the JUnit testing framework. Additionally, I used Android Studio’s performance profiler to assess and optimize application performance, focusing on memory and CPU usage. Project 2) I performed full-stack development using TypeScript and Node.js to create an Express application. This role involved working with the Aurelia client framework, Cesium mapping software for radar track visualization, binary decoders and parsers, REST communications, and a PostgreSQL database. A microservice architecture was implemented to separate and encapsulate various system processes. I was also responsible for live video streaming logic from onboard drone cameras, leveraging C/C++ with the FFmpeg library for live video processing across aircraft, drones, and stationary surveillance systems. Project 3) I worked in full-stack development with a focus on back-end server development using C# and .NET within the ASP.NET framework. My responsibilities included designing and implementing RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between client and server, as well as handling database interactions via SQL Server using Entity Framework. Additionally, I performed general server-side programming to integrate with various services and components, ensuring seamless functionality across the application.

This role was a contract that consisted of developing an Android app that featured video tours of real estate properties. Back-end created with Amazon Web Services using a REST API built on Express, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB databases, virtual servers running Windows Server with Node.js. The app was designed with provided wireframe designs and followed agile development practices.

The San Diego Resource conservation district needed a website that acts as an information directory for the various Schoool Garden locations throughout San Diego county. The website had to be a responsive design to allow users to search through hundreds of locations on a variety of devices. The website was created using WordPress with modules that allows ease of database administration without much of a technical background.
