Began as student and career services, currently career services and associate director. As career services coordinator, increased placement from 53% to 73% in under 2 years. Kept current with all regulatory bodies, including BPPE and ACICS, keeping all records and numbers within or above those needed for compliance standards. Interfaced with many companies and studios, branching out the connections of SAE Los Angeles to make the school an industry leader in providing entry level employees to the recording and post-production industries. Created methods for backup data tracking within Excel to meet all compliance standards. Implemented internship and resume workshops, working with graduates one-on-one to develop individual relationships and placement plans. As associate director, I have had a hand in most all day to day operations of the school, overseeing studio operation and maintenance staff, as well as administrative staff.

• Supervised studio update including rewiring of facility and patchbay, managed recording facilities and assets, assisted in label operations, which included network maintenance, accounting, marketing, social media ad campaigns, sales and organizing travel, while performing production, engineering, and musician duties for outside clients and in-house songwriting.

• Duties included complete design and install of a recording studio, laying the groundwork for their recording program, as well as general music instruction.

• Managed all day-to-day operations of vintage recording studio, including duties as house engineer and tech. Performed repairs and maintenance on vintage API console, as well as reverbs, compressors, EQs, and microphones, while also handling client services, employees, and other assets.

• Quickly graduated from intern to direct assistant to Freddie Piro, overseeing all nighttime operations and assisting with all daytime operations, including client services for Jon Brion.

• Assisted owner/operator Hector Ramirez while being trained in operation of Pro Tools software and recording gear.
