I have been working in production/manufacturing for 26yrs. During this time, I have worked hard to achieve the positions of Production Supervisor for 11yrs, Quality Technician for 2yrs and 5yrs as a New Project Manager (Production Supervisor/Quality). Currently, I am working for a Toyota supplier in Pre-Production Preparation (6yrs ). I am learning what all goes into the planning for upcoming new-model production scheduling, trials and launches. I’ve been involved with production line development and set-up, line balancing, continuous improvement activities, 5s activities, ISO audits and working with all departments involved to take a part from a drawing to producing a salable product. During my 26yrs in production/manufacturing, I have had the opportunity to work for two Toyota suppliers producing parts for several of their facilities in the US. I have also had the privilege of working for a global glass manufacturer. There, I overseen the production of Ballistic proof windows for military vehicles and border patrol boats. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to be involved in building windows that have been proven to save the lives of many men and women fighting for our freedom.
