Philips changed over to a joint venture between TPV and Philips named TP Vision. Later TPV took the joint venture completely over and TP Vision became a daughter company of TPV. Project responsibility has grown as more activities got outsourced. My assignment was extended with the electrical development of high-end TV platforms. These platforms are the core of a TV set and contain “state of the art” SOCs. These TV platforms are used in multiple set ranges and also outsourced to external companies. My assignment is to develop/mature/industrialize these platform and provide support to the internal and external teams who make use of these platforms.
