As part of a wider IT transformation journey at Dyson I was asked to step away from my contract role responsibilities and join the senior management team internally within Dyson IT to lead part of the newly formed design function and establish Dyson’s first ever architecture capability. Large-scale global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Client - BP Retail Role – Project Manager & Solution Architect, Retail Systems Management Solution Key Achievements- End to end project lifecycle delivery & solution architecture of a global software distribution toolset (Altiris) used by BP for remote support, upgrade and deployment of new retail sites- Included accountability for the third party supplier delivery of a critical product upgrades to support multicast network technology, a first for both BP and Altiris. - Key contributor to an innovative custom built automated retail system build process capable of building or restoring retail sites remotely from a single touch. - Transition of the Altiris implementation into an ITIL based 24 / 7 support service located in Slovakia
