Chris has 29 years of experience as a hydrogeologist, both in the mining and environmental consulting industries. He specializes in aquifer management on large projects, well installation and well field management, aquifer testing and characterization, and contaminant fate and transport. Chris is attracted to unique, technically difficult, and innovative projects.Prior to starting Cascade Geoscience, Chris was the Senior Hydrogeologist for the Leeville Projects Group at the Leeville mine in northern Nevada’s Carlin Trend. He was responsible for the aquifer characterization, design, planning, and management for the frozen ground construction of a new ventilation shaft. He was also responsible for the design of a new in-mine dewatering system to expand the existing dewatering well field, and managing and maintaining the current dewatering system.As a current board member of the Nevada Water Resources Association, Chris was the Director of the 2013 Mining Water Management Symposium, held in January in Reno, NV.
