I spent approx 8 years with Staples and worked my way through a variety of positions. After starting as a department supervisor in an Ottawa store I quickly went into management and onto a travelling operations team. After a year of travelling, supporting and hiring for new store launches and store renovations, I spent a couple years managing in stores in the Toronto area.Staples was a great opportunity giving me hands on experience managing large teams, handling store operations and focusing on store measurables.Although I learned much of what I know to date in how to manage a business through Staples it ultimately is in my heart to lead a team of my own and create my own company culture.
