Trainee Computer ProgrammerAdvanced New Technology 1994 - 1995Began training by learning to program Psion hand-held computer technology, using a basic like language called OPL/16. Simple process charts were used to design specifications for program flow, before programming began. ·Following OPL/16, the use of Visual Basic was used to write a series of small in-house projects to control daily procedures within the company. The procedures including the logging of new hardware received into the company from customers or suppliers, a system to create ‘Setup’ disks for the company software.Following the above training, I was then given complete data collection systems to design, implement and test, within the commercial environment of the company.
