CurrentWriting, Managing and Delivering Programmes to support the delivery of the Economic Strategy for Norfolk and Suffolk. Delivering the Governments' £300m Local Growth Fund deal for Norfolk and Suffolk. Delivering the £64m Getting Building Fund for the region. Managing a team including the Growth Hub for Norfolk and other partner grant programmes across the two counties to deliver local interventions on behalf of others, particularly district and borough councils. Devised and initiated the Growing Places Loan and Investment fund to help provide loan funding for infrastructure where a market failure was preventing development from moving forward. The fund has supported projects across the region where delivery would not have been possible without a contribution from the fund to help kickstart the activity. Projects have included infrastructure to unlock development sites, construction of flood defences and electricity infrastructure, new commercial premises and house-building projects. Oversaw the introduction of New Anglia Capital, designed to provide investment to new opportunities in the region with the backing of Angel investors.
