As the head football coach at Broughton, I used football as a tool to help boys become the kind of men who will change our world for the better. I grew the program from 80 participants in 2016 to 180 in 2022. This growth was in large part due to the culture we created in which every boy was respected, valued, affirmed, and loved.As an English teacher and Healthful Living teacher, I equipped students with the skills they need for success in high school, college, and beyond.

At Gilman I taught ninth and eleventh grade English as well as coached football and basketball. I absolutely loved my time at Gilman. It's where I learned to be an adult and where I fell in love with teaching and coaching. It's also where I learned how to use the classroom, field, and gym to help boys and girls become the kind of men and women who will make our world a better place.
