Experienced portfolio, project and service contract manager with a background in the life science and coastal development industry, environmental management, conservation and research, my innovative and strongly entrepreneurial mindset have been the drive of many initiatives and improvements wherever I got involved. I currently work as Programme Manager - Coasts and Deltas at Wetlands International. In this role, being naturally outgoing, highly structured, detail and result-oriented, I drive the development, structure and implementation of a number of programmes with a particular focus on mangrove restoration. In this context, I have the honour of working with highly diverse teams spread across numerous countries. Leveraging my expertise in project portfolio management, I am also involved in the reinforcement of internal programme/project management processes. My passion for nature and the environment has also led me to become a CITES expert and member of the Scientific Advisory group for the Environment Federal Public Service of Belgium, and more recently to develop an NGO aimed at supporting sustainable development initiatives around the world. Together, these various activities contribute to fulfil my will to take action and ensure that today’s natural resources will remain for tomorrow’s generations.
