We just purchased a brand new Caterpillar excavator, that features a forestry mulching attachment with a 30 ft. reach. We also have a Skidsteer with a forestry mulching attachment.If you haven't had the opportunity to see a forestry mulcher at work or have any doubts of how efficient and fast these machines are, we would like to offer any Firewise community a free one-hour demo.RECENT PROJECTS 1) Three private projects completed for Richard Shortall and Todd Lando of Firewise . 2) We rehabbed 3 miles of fire road in 2.5 days for Rocking H Ranch. 3) Cleared approximately 5 acres of extremely steep terrain in 3 days for San Domenico School. 4) Cleared a chimney that had extremely steep and thick vegetation (up to 12 Ft tall) in 2 days that was threatening to jump a fire road.Now is the time for our machines to be put to work…for many reasons, with the #1 reason being weather. Current temperatures and conditions are perfect for mulching. With fire season rapidly approaching a year-round phenomenon for California, the right time is RIGHT NOW… and not only does the rain not slow us down, it is actually of tremendous benefit in helping to mitigate the risk of sparks and dust levels.We are specifically targeting extreme vegetation and tree removal for all shaded fuel breaks and fire road maintenance.
