Mar. 2009 Directed start-up and ensuing successful development of occupational medicine program. Work closely with primary and satellite Erlanger facilities to coordinate seamless delivery of occupational medicine service for local business and industry clients. Develop physician relationships to ensure specialist referral process is beneficial to individual physician, physician groups and EHS. Direct program's overall strategy and manage staff to achieve volume and profitability goals. Responsibilities included billing and collections for practice. Recruiting and contracting of Medical Director and staff physicians. Increased referrals to specialists utilizing EHS facilities and increased upstream revenues into hospital system. Report directly to the Vice President of Ambulatory Services.

Developed physician and medical facility relationships within a 100-mile radius of the Erlanger Health System, enhancing system’s position as a tertiary provider of services. Assisted in the development of strategy to increase regional and local admissions to EHS. Managed/supervised RN customer consultants in the implementation of strategy. Emphasis on major product lines - cardiac, orthopedics, oncology, pediatrics and women's services. Recruitment of physicians into the health system. Result was increased regional referrals and field activities synchronization. Reported directly to Vice President of Strategic Planning, CEO.

Responsible for direct marketing to physicians and business/industry, coordinating Erlanger’s internal resources, establishing and maintaining key relationships with physician offices. Development and implementation of sixty-county physician and business database for marketing/public relations department. Development of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft PowerPoint laptop presentations. Assisted with development of marketing print materials and ad campaigns. Result was increased referrals and business growth. Reported directly to Chief Operations Officer.
