Conducted analysis and design of structural aspects of offshore platforms. Work included design of new topside skids and modules, assessment of existing topside and jacket structures, deterministic fatigue analysis of existing crane pedestals, and other miscellaneous items.All structural design and analysis was conducted per API RP's and client specifications. Structural analysis was conducted using hand calculations, spreadsheets, and SACS structural analysis software.

Analyzed existing structures steel, concrete, and masonry structures for blast loads and designed retrofits to strengthen structures as required. Designed and analyzed modular steel buildings for normal loads, lift forces, and sea transportation.

Design of elevated and on-grade wood frame houses in hurricane and flood prone areas (Texas Windstorm Areas). Designed various simple steel structures and equipment supports. Conducted inspections of structures in various stages of completion. Drafted engineering plans, elevations, and details for construction.
