-Assist senior buyer in co-development and execution of category plans and product strategies, as well as overall day-to-day management of the department.-Plan and execute roll-outs of new items within our special order program.-Work cross-functionally with visual merchandising and marketing departments for execution-Analyze trends in the industry, and across other categories, to stay ahead of the market.

-Manage day-to-day operations for 35+ vendors, to include: +Purchase order tracking and management +Reconciliation of order discrepancies to assist AP +SKU creation for new products -Provide consistent support to over 100 store locations on all questions regarding the department.-Assist in creating training documents and how-to videos. Both internal and external facing. -Helped in continuing development for company-wide sales/incentive program. -Support category specialists and buyer in other areas for any tasks ranging from data analysis, to competitive shops, to drafting internal communications, and many other functional tasks.
