I am Cargill’s Finance Global Process Owner defining the strategy for the function and leading a team of approximately 4,000. I am responsible for driving the process, data and technology strategy to transform Finance to top quartile delivering faster information and better insights. This involves changing Finance’s service operating model, defining our talent needs, migrating activities to our shared services centers, harmonizing our data, and creating a single source of the truth through the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana Central Finance.Prior to this role, I have worked in a broad range of commercial, process and compliance roles. As Finance Director for Packaging, I have been a key member of the business leadership team delivering a balanced strategy to overhaul operations and successfully re-establish the organization as a supplier of choice. As Finance Director in a newly established Decision Support role, I have stepped in to address critical business gaps by leading the creation of the 5 year strategy and providing ruthless focus through program managing the resulting pipeline of initiatives. As a GPO, I have developed the strategy and led large shared services teams from fourth to externally benchmarked world class in delivering leading end to end processes and controls. And through my internal audit experience and broader cross-finance experience, I’ve partnered with the business in developing risk based strategies and sound compliance frameworks in response to ever-growing business and regulatory complexity.I specialize in setting finance strategic direction, as well as delivering transformation, global process standardization, enterprise data management, finance organization design, digital finance and reporting and analytics. With more than 25 years of multi-sector experience in oil & gas, beverages, food and telecommunications industries, I have led large international teams through change and transformation in complex and challenging environments.
