• Lead all aspects of Health and Safety within the department including monthly safety inspections and the review of all risk assessments.
• Ensuring correct staffing levels are in place by managing department holidays and absenteeism

• The supervision of the factory floor technical team including technical team leaders and line QC’s
• Responsibility for ensuring all company food safety policies and procedures were followed and understoodby all staff members
• Ensuring all Critical Control Points were identified, monitored and tested
• Overseeing and reviewing our traceability system including full product traceability exercises for customers and auditors
• Daily review/audit of all quality/technical paperwork
• Involved member of the company HACCP team
