About Chris Devoize
I am a passionate primary school teacher who enjoys teaching young children. Seeing children smiling, growing and learning is what drives me everyday at work. After obtaining my Master's degree in Education from Lander University, I decided to move to Vietnam to teach. I started teaching in 2016 and I am pretty confident that I will keep being a teacher for the next 15 - 20 years. I love my job! Besides teaching, my life is driven by sports. Weekly, I train between 15 to 20 hours mixing tennis, running, cycling and football. I was lucky to be gifted in tennis to receive a full scholarship at Lander University. I played tennis in college and had great memories. Tennis has provides so many opportunities in my life that it will always be a part of my life. Moving to Vietnam helped me become more mature and develop a taste to creating start-up businesses. I created a Sport Consulting Company: Athlete Trotter in France and I felt confident enough to export my company to Vietnam where I could advise and send tennis players to the U.S. I use this company to create many other projects: - Andros The Lakes Race: A running event gathering 2000 runners and sponsoring orphans- Elite Orphans Running Club: A running club that trains a group of 5 - 10 orphans- MCT Vietnam: Tennis tournaments that provide UTR certified matches- Chez Christian: A barbecue, bar, snack where people could relax and play "petanque"
