Chris has over 30yrs IT experience, 15yrs Project Management experience (7yrs with IBM), 20yrs Data Migration experience (15yrs with SAP), 3yrs Banking.Chris has managed data migrations at:- Bank South Pacific- Dept Housing & Public Works- Queensland Heath- Sydney Trains - Valeant Pharmaceuticals- Dept of Education- Gold Coast City Council- QLD Government Payroll Solution- Fonterra- Telstra- Commonwealth Parliamentary Library- Department of FinanceHe has lead and managed many SAP migrations for ERP and HR solutions, including Plant Maintenance, Payroll, Procurement, Finance, Project Systems, Logistics, HCM. Recently he managed the data migration of core banking data for Vanuatu BSP.Chris will typically develop data migration strategies and plans, data profiling and cleansing plans, data migration cutover plans and all reporting. He works with the business to complete Cleansing and develop data reconciliation plans. He manages all aspects of the migration, including business and technical resourses, and has also been called on to assess the data migration component of ERP projects. He did this at Valeant Pharmaceuticals and after making recommendations & took control of the Data Migration Team.As the SAP Data Migration Lead on the SAP PM Project for the QLD DETE he analysed the quality of data, cleansed & extracted data from source systems into SAP, Data Validation/Reconciliation. Chris was also assigned the Cutover Lead & co-ordinated the project’s hypercare support.At DETE, he also worked with a vendor to migrate all data from ECC5 to ECC6. He also validated data & co-ordinated Business Data Reco.As SAP Data Migration Lead on the ERP Property Program for the GCCC he was responsible for analysing the data quality, cleansing & extracting data using BODS.As the SAP Data Migration Lead for QLD Health he led a Data Migration Team migrating HR/Payroll Data from Lattice/ESP to SAP/Workbrain. He also worked as the Data Migration Advisor for the QLD Gov Whole of Gov HR Implementation. He advised agencies on Data Migration strategies, methodologies & addressed data related questions.At IBM Chris performed many roles including PM, Release Manager & Data Migration Lead. He was the Data Transformation Method exponent for IBM’s Data Transformation Services team & was the key PM in this competency with an excellent delivery record. Chris was involved in process improvement in IBM & was part of the CMM assessment team.
