I serve as the primary liaison between the show and package producers during the day: coordinating hit times, tracking the production process and working with producers and editors to generate exciting packaged material. In the control room, I serve as an important editorial voice. I am responsible for managing and stacking all visual elements and working with the Executive Producer, Senior Broadcast Producer, Director and Technical Director to screen, organize and prioritize all video and sound before it airs. My primary control room point of contact for package producers and associate producers as they funnel material on-air. I am also responsible for coordinating and ingesting video elements during breaking news. From time-to-time, I have been called upon to produce packages or edit video. I am proficient in conducting interviews and writing package scripts.
