Supply Chain focal for New Product Introduction (NPI) providing materials and logistical support to project teams as point of contact for all project stakeholders (engineering, operations, purchasing, program management) providing coordination of projects from inception to completion (and/or transition to volume manufacturing). Chair weekly material status meetings communicating project part status, gating material shortage issues, engineering design or BoM changes, ensure project team and operations management are in alignment with materials status and has clear understanding of any material delivery risks which may impact the build schedule. Regularly provide summary of project material shortages potentially effecting build schedule to all stakeholders. Ensure project materials integrity and on-time delivery of multiple projects with respect to time, scope, change. Daily communication with global purchasing organization (Austin, China, Singapore) ensuring material commits support plan, review and resolve critical part issues, provided part escalation prioritization, approve expedite fees. Identify and resolve BoM discrepancies having potential to delay assigned project builds (BoM errors, demand double driving, demand driving in wrong organization, planner code assignment errors, make/buy errors, etc.). Responsible for disposition of unreleased project parts, ensuring parts purchased on requisition order are converted to purchase order and issued to project build, or parts received into inventory against project account.
