Civil Engineer specialising in highways and transport schemes with previous involvement working on preliminary and detailed design packages in addition to construction phase support and site supervision activities during a Local Authority secondment.I have a proven record of both undertaking and overseeing the production of highways design drawings and specifications with experience in a variety of roles including Design Coordinator, Design Engineer and Assistant Project Manager, working with a variety of Local Authority, government and private clients.I’m an advanced user of Autodesk Civil 3D having used it for highway alignment and corridor design, earthworks regrading, and the design of flood defences. I also have an advanced knowledge of AutoCAD with experience using PDS Line and Sign and Vehicle Tracking software.I have a good working knowledge of Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) and Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and previous experience using and applying other design standards and guidance including TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, LTN1/20 and Manual for Streets.
