At VIM Web Solutions Chris focuses on advising Marine businesses on the best ways to market themselves to new and existing customers. With 38+ years of experience in the Marine industry provides him with a unique understanding of these types of businesses and what it takes to make them successful. He is relationship-oriented and focused on finding his clients the best solutions to help them reach their goals. Chris started his career in the Marine industry in 1981 where he worked for the West Branch Marina. He rented boats, ran the ship store, cooked in the kitchen, and pumped gas. This is where Chris fell in love with boats. His next role was with Ron’s Marine in 1982 where he began doing every type of repair imaginable. In 1986 Chris’s role at Ron’s Marine changed to focus more on sales. He started selling inboard ski boats as Ron’s Marine became a Correct Craft dealer. Chris also would attend Pleasurecraft Marine Service School to ensure he was an expert in his field. With Chris’s expertise and leadership, Ron’s Marine was listed in the top five dealers in sales from 1994 to 2000 and was awarded a Top Service Dealer Honors carrying nearly 100% customer satisfaction. In 2000 Ron’s Marine was split into two different companies, Ron’s Marine which focused on selling Mastercrafts and Ron’s Marine Service which serviced its customers boats. Chris took over as the sole owner of Ron’s Marine Service and continued to sell boats for the sister company. Chris did exceptionally well with his new venture and eventually, it was purchased by Mid Ohio Watersports in 2004. Chris went to work for Mid Ohio Watersports in 2004 after they purchased his firm. He managed the main store location in Streetsboro, OH. In this role, Chris had great success in sales and service working mainly with Mastercraft, Malibu, and Correct Craft boats. In 2006, Chris pursued a new role with Boat House Marine where he started as the Director of Sales. He continued to sell Mastercraft boats along with pontoons and fishing boats. As the Director of Sales Chris was responsible for his sales team, marketing the boats, boat orders, boat deliveries, and title paperwork. In 2018 Chris made the switch back to his service roots and became the Service Manager at Boat House Marine. While Chris did enjoy his time in the Marine Industry he wanted to continue to help grow small Marine businesses as he did throughout his career. He felt the best way to do this was by enhancing and optimizing marketing for these companies. In 2019 Chris started his current role as with VIM Web Solutions.
