Worked at ITV as part of the commercial sales team, where I was responsible managing a number of important and sensitive accounts. I am thoroughly accomplished across all forms of campaign management, from airtime manipulation to down selling, with a plethora of relationships and contacts at all levels across a vast agency patch. During my ITV career I have worked with a number of different agencies which include Zenith Optimedia, Opera, Mindshare, Starcom (Spark), Initiative Media, M2M & John Aylings.

Accountabilities:• Co-ordination of key advertising campaigns with agencies listed above. This includes negotiating PYO’s.• Co-ordination of a large, sensitive, direct piece of business Arcadia. • Providing support & assistance to members of my team to make sure this is booked correctly and within deal parameters.• Maintain a sound knowledge of the broadcast market.• Delegating work to the assistants and other members of my team when needed.• Setting up late money on deadlines and getting the cash in across all areas of the country.• Presenting to colleagues within the sales team about upcoming ITV programming.• Going out to agencies to present and discuss future bookings, late money and potential creative ideas.• Organising regular agency visits to go over figures and address any issues or potential issues.• Running regular reports and providing caveat positions for advertisers.• Knowledge and understanding of many different systems including Landmark & Caria. • Advising the training and progression of Sales Assistants within my sales group.• Co-ordinating and implementing creative ideas for commercial breaks which give added value to ITV products. This is evident in role as a team creative council representative.

Accountabilities:• Completing the ITV sales assistant training programme which includes an exam after 6 months.• Building knowledge of the broadcast market.• Develop an excellent understanding of all of ITV’s products.• Managing key advertising campaigns with agencies listed above.• Communication with agency’s negotiating and managing their campaigns as well as building solid client relationships.• Communicating internally with my team regarding my agencies and always having a collaborative approach to dealing with requests.• Providing assistance to my executive and other members of the team when required.
